Research and Consulting

Research and consulting are other important activities of SAIM. For the SouthAsia Enterprise Development Facility (SEDF), a multi – donor funded, IFC managed, regional initiative based in Bangladesh, SAIM assessed and identified potential SMEs in Nepal for future support and development. SAIM has been providing consulting services to the government and other national and international agencies. In the past, SAIM has provided consulting services to the Ministry of General Administration of the Government of Nepal, which focused on the structural redesign of the ministry. Similarly, SAIM reviewed the organization structure of the Poverty Alleviation Fund (PAF), an autonomous body supported by the World Bank that implements poverty alleviation programs in Nepal.
