Corporate Linkages

With a view to forge a much needed link between academia and industry, SAIM has been striving continuously to develop and strengthen its corporate linkages with various national and international business organizations. SAIM has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with The Chaudhary Group (CG), a leading business conglomerate headquartered in Kathmandu with over 40 companies under its umbrella. With an overall aim of sharing the intellectual, capital and infrastructure resources of CG and SAIM, the MOU covers a wide range of collaborative activities such as internships, industrial exposure visits, and placements at CG for the students of SAIM. SAIM has also signed a MOU with Mr. B. K Shrestha, who represents different business organizations both in Nepal and India and is also the chairman of Everest Bank Ltd., to facilitate pre-service exposure and placement for the students of SAIM in business institutions represented by him. SAIM has recently signed an MOU with Sales and Marketing inc. SMi, a US based company, to collaborate in the areas of sales and marketing and provide internship and placement to the students.

Besides, SAIM also has strong corporate linkages with many corporate houses such as Continental Traders, Bank of Kathmandu, NMB Bank, Shree Air, WorldLink Communications, Shaligram Apartment Hotel, Management Support System. Strong corporate linkages provide students adequate opportunity to expose themselves to managerial realities of corporate houses through internship and project work assignments. Through its corporate linkages, the Career Counselling and Placement Cell of SAIM also facilitates placement of its graduates.
