Experience: Widely known as a management expert and consultant, Mr. Rana has served as Minister of Finance of the Government of Nepal. Earlier he was a senior economic advisor at the ministry of finance, and advisor at the ministry of Industry and Commerce. He also served as the executive director of the Centre for Economic Development and Administration (CEDA), as deputy general manager of the National Trading Corporation, as a senior regional economist and project manager of UNCTAD. He also taught at the Nippising University, Ontario, Canada as a lecturer of Economics and at Cambrian College of Applied Arts & Technology, Ontario, Canada as an Associate Teaching Master for Economics, Statistics and Labour Relations.
