BASUDEV DAHAL, Professor
MBA, Harvard University, USA

bExperience: Prof. Dahal has over 40 years of working experience covering a broad range of areas and tasks. After completing MBA from Harvard Business School he worked for a government and private sector financed minority business development agency in the Washington D.C. area in the USA. He joined the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in 1976 and worked there for around 24 years. He rose through the ranks and retired in 2002 as the Director General of the ADB Pacific Regional Department. He taught a course on the global competitive framework under the Department of International Business in the George Washington University as an adjunct professor of international business in 2003. He has worked in Nepal as a senior economic adviser in the Ministry of Finance. He did several consulting work in strategic areas for the ADB, World Bank, FAO and a Japanese NGO, including country specific assignments in Vietnam and Cambodia.
